On October 15th, The City Rooms celebrated their third birthday. The Parmar family, owners of The City Rooms, rewarded suppliers, staff and regular clients who had contributed along the way by throwing a lavish black tie, six-course dinner and after dinner dancing as a celebration of the venue’s continued achievements.
Following a two year restoration, the historical venue has been brought back to life and business is booming.
First built in 1792, with the intention to be used as Leicester’s inaugural hotel, the venue has had a variety of uses, including coffee house, banqueting rooms and even as the judge’s lodgings for the county’s justices. But The City Rooms now offer top class city centre hotel accommodation as well as a variety of services.
A place for celebration, with three lavishly decorated meeting rooms, a bar, the grand ballroom and four luxurious bedrooms, The City Rooms is an extremely flexible venue. Able to host weddings and business conferences, it offers a classy and professional setting within a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.
