Soar Media is delighted to announce a partnership with Leicestershire and Rutland based charity LOROS to publish their official newsletter, issued twice a year.

The newsletter, which has a circulation of nearly 50,000, is distributed across the region and the first edition to be designed by Soar will be available in March 2010.

Soar Media have recently supported the Leicester City Football Club LOROS bike ride by covering the progress of Nigel Pearson, Alan Birchenall and the rest of the backroom staff as they cycled from Newcastle to Carlisle in November 2009 to raise money for the hospice.

Soar were also present for the club’s presentation of the cheque for the money raised and have helped raise awareness of the women’s 5k fun run, which is being held next summer.

“There is so much great work being done by members of staff, volunteers and people across Leicestershire to help LOROS and the newsletter is an important way of publicising the things we do.

“It isn’t just about the Hospice, it’s also about the Community Nurse Specialists who do the same work as the Macmillan nurses. We have a Day Hospice, Physiotherapy, Complimentary Therapy, Counselling and a Chaplaincy team. We also provide services and support for the families of patients.
