Leicester City’s Youth Cup tie with Liverpool.

Jon Rudkin’s Academy side saw their unbeaten run come to an end on Tuesday night as Liverpool’s youngsters knocked them out of the FA Youth Cup at the Walkers Stadium.

The 5-1 scoreline was harsh on City, who had plenty of chances of their own, hitting the woodwork on several occasions. Leicester’s goal came in the second half through Yussuf after some good work by Jorrin John.

Rudkin’s men remain top of the FA Premier Academy B Division and are unbeaten this season in the league. Their next game is away at Reading on Saturday (January 16th).
