Only Fools and Horses star Roger Lloyd Pack recently mingled with traders and customers whilst filming at Leicester Market.

The actor, who famously played Trigger in the BBC’s much loved long-running sitcom, was being filmed on location for a new drama about Leicester Market Traders.

The short film, called The Good Old Men of Leicester, was written by two Screenwriters from the city, Neale Craston (30) and Al Mackay (29) who won the funds to make the movie after entering their script in a regional arts competition called Quad Shorts.

The Good Old Men of Leicester’s cast mostly includes people from the East Midlands and will run between five and eight minutes in length.

Filming took place on Sunday and finished on Monday and saw Roger behind on of the famous fruit and veg stalls.

The competition was organised by Derby’s Quad cinema in conjunction with East Midlands media organisation EM Media.
