Despite the wind, rain and snow lashing down outside the Walkers Stadium last Thursday, over 2000 Foxes Fans turned out to queue outside the club megastore to meet four of their City heroes.

Defenders Wayne Brown and Alex Bruce were joined by first team forwards Dany N’Guessan and Martyn Wagorn to meet and greet supporters, sign autographs and pose for photos.

City legend Alan Birchenall also threw his backing behind the day, signing autographs and keeping players and supporters entertained with plenty of banter.

The queue snaked from side to side inside the shop and looped back about 50 yards outside the stadium, as many young fans dragged their parents down the club during the half-term break. City mad youngsters were also joined by regular season ticket holders, club members and lifelong Foxes followers.

Wayne Brown, who has captained the side on numerous occasions this season, was more than happy to give up a few hours of his time to meet the supporters.

“It’s great and it doesn’t take a lot of your day to come down and put a smile on a few young lads and young girls’ faces. There’s obviously a few people standing here today in the snow and it makes it all worth while. Coming down here and doing a few signatures is great.”

After three away games on the bounce, Browny, the rest of the players and the fans will be looking forward to Saturday’s home game against local rivals Nottingham Forest. Tickets for the top six contest are selling fast. To ensure you don’t miss out and for more information visit the ticketing section of the club’s official website.
