Leicester’s renowned electrical store, Marks Electrical, have recently expanded their show room with the opening a brand new £250,000 Miele Experience Centre.

The grand opening took place on Wednesday February 17th at the company’s King Richards Road showrooms in the city. Award winning restaurateur and Channel Four Online celebrity chef, Paul Leary, from The Woodhouse Restaurant in Woodhouse Eaves, provided a cooking demonstration.

A Miele Home Economist and Training Staff were also on hand to answer questions and demonstrate various Miele products. Miele are a high quality manufacturer of domestic appliances and commercial equipment. The company pride themselves on unsuppressed quality and products, which have longevity and reliability, living up to their motto of ‘forever better.’

Marks Electrical is a dedicated and successful local business, which was started by Mark Smithson in 1987. In the last 23 the company has become a popular household name across the county.

The local company are a proud sponsor of Leicester City Football Club, and Foxes legend Steve Walsh also attended the opening. A man synonymous with success, Walshy was delighted to throw his support behind the grand opening.

    I was recommended Marks electrical by Miele.
    Their general sales assistants are very helpful, but their manager is UNBELIEVABLE! Even his sales assistants told him not to be so silly and looked aghast at him whilst he ranted at me. And I hadn't even asked for a quote at this point! I left in tears and would never consider buying from them again!
