Leicester Squash Club Appoints New Coach

Leicester Squash Club, based on London Road, has appointed a new Coach – Linda Taylor. Linda is a Level 2 Squash Coach and her appointment is in recognition of the requirements of the local area.

She has a great deal of experience in taking squash to the schools and to the local communities, and has received an award from England Squash and Racketball in recognition of the work she has done in this area.

Linda will be working, in a development capacity, alongside the resident Head Coach, Oliver Clay, to build on the current success with Junior Squash at the club, and to expand the programme of coaching offered.

Founded in 1936, owned and run by its members, Leicester Squash Club is the longest established squash club in Leicestershire.

Social squash is played by members of all ages and abilities and for those wanting competition there are internal leagues on a monthly promotion/relegation cycle.

Club Night on Fridays offers the opportunity for all members to come along and play without prior arrangement.

For any details of sessions being run at the club please call the club on 0116 270 8068 or contact Linda by e mail on linda@leicestersquashclub.co.uk
