When You’re Smiling – The Final Version

Jersey Budd and his producers have worked their magic in the studio over the last few days and the final recording of ‘When You’re Smiling’ featuring the Leicester City first team is ready to be played.

A collaboration between Soar Media, Jersey Budd and Leicester City Football Club, the concept was to re-create a terrace classic and support the Foxes’ play-off bid.

After visiting Kasabian’s recording studios on Tuesday afternoon, the players added backing vocals to the track with the likes of Paul Gallagher, Richie Wellens and Steve Howard showing particular enthusiasm.

Jersey presented the final version of ‘When You’re Smiling’ to City Chairman Milan Mandaric at the Walkers Stadium yesterday and the song will be played in full for the first time ahead of Sunday’s home game against Middlesbrough.
