Enter the quirky world of Murray Lachlan Young as he presents Modern Cautionary Tales for Children II at The Y this half term as part of The Spark Children’s Arts Festival.
On Friday June 4th, children can enjoy this innovative and ground-breaking poetry show written and performed by one of the UK’s foremost performance poets and a regular fixture on BBC Radio 4′s Saturday Live.
A hilarious mix of rock and roll poetry, stand up and storytelling with a healthy dollop of ‘shh’ panto, Modern Cautionary Tales II proves that poetry can be fun, thought-provoking and occasionally quite cool.
Modern Cautionary Tales for Children II is presented by Windswept and Interesting. The show is suitable for over children aged 4 and above and will be at The Y during half term at 1.30pm on Friday June 4th.
Tickets cost £5.50 for an adult and £4 for a child. Call 0116 255 7066 to book.
