Free Bowling Coaching
Leicester residents are being invited to try free lawn bowls coaching at the Evington Park bowling green, on Saturdays and Mondays during April and May.
The coaching will take place over the next three Saturdays, from April 23rd to May 7th, between 10.15am 11.15am. The Monday sessions will run from April 25th to May 9th between 6.45pm and 7.30pm.
Club Secretary, Peter Jackson, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to come down and try bowls. We want as many new people to take up the sport as possible.”
The lessons are open to everyone. There is no age limit but those under 18-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
People who want to take part are asked to bring flat shoes or trainers. All other equipment will be provided by the club.
